Frequently asked questions
What people ask before their first anonymous swap.
Do I need an account?
No. No sign up, no email, no password. Starting a swap gives you a private link to follow it. Keep that link, or follow the swap in our Telegram bot.
Will you ask who I am?
No. No KYC, no ID, no passport, no selfie, no proof of address, no phone number and no email. A swap works without knowing who you are, so we never ask.
Do you hold my coins?
No. Every swap gets its own deposit address, used once, and the new coins go straight to the wallet address you give. There is no balance kept for you, ever.
Where does the rate come from?
It is live, taken from the market at the moment you look. The amount shown is what reaches your wallet after every fee. The open market price sits next to it, so the difference is always visible.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. Our fee and the network fee are already inside the amount you see. What you see is what arrives.
Fixed or floating rate?
Floating gives you the rate at the moment your deposit confirms, usually a little better. Fixed locks the amount you see if you send inside the time window, for a small premium.
How long does a swap take?
Most finish in 5 to 30 minutes. The time depends mostly on how fast the coin you send gets confirmed. Bitcoin is slower than Tron or Solana, for example.
Why would a swap be held?
Every deposit is screened against sanctions lists and known stolen funds. If one is flagged it may need a short check before it is released or refunded. Write to us with your swap ID and we keep you posted.
I want to swap $100,000 or more
Use the private desk. Message @SwapAnonymouslyBot before you send. You get a better price than the public rate and one person who handles your swap from start to finish.
What if I send the wrong amount?
On a floating swap, whatever arrives is used. On a fixed swap, a different amount turns it into a floating swap or a refund. Amounts below the minimum are refunded minus the network fee.
Do you keep logs?
No. Our web server records nothing about visits, and no swap is ever stored with an IP address. There are no cookies, analytics or trackers anywhere on the site.
Can I erase my swap?
Yes. When a swap has ended, its page has an Erase now button. The record and both addresses are deleted on the spot and overwritten on disk. If you do nothing, it is erased automatically after 7 days.
What do you store at all?
Only what the swap needs to run: the coins, the amounts, the addresses and the swap reference. No name, no email, no IP address. It is deleted 7 days after the swap ends, or right away if you press Erase now.
